Cliff and Chris Crago became clinicians in the mid 80’s, traveling for a decade teaching “The Crago Method” of harmonious horse training. They were featured in Western Horseman, Quarter Horse News, Texas Monthly, Country Living and other industry publications.

Their son Clay carries on their tradition of harmonious low stress horse training. Clay and Chasity Crago operate the ranch in partnership with Cliff and Chris; their business is a cow-calf enterprise with a large summer herd of yearlings. Calving, doctoring yearlings and maintaining a ranch have always required horsemanship, but the Cragos have taken it to a higher level. Their inspiration has been Ray Hunt, Kevin Stallings, their own father’s Walt Crago and Walt Hoffman along with countless horsemen and women that have been examples to them through the years.
